At Made To Move Studio, we believe you cannot truly strengthen a body that is in a state of stress. That is why we have created a Clinical Sanctuary—an environment designed to quiet the noise of the outside world so you can focus entirely on the mechanics of your body.

 

Unlike high-intensity studios that rely on momentum, we prioritize Precision Moves. We slow the process down to recruit the deep, stabilizing muscles that support your spine and joints, ensuring that every repetition is medically sound and mechanically efficient.

Meet Mel: Strategic Intuition Meets Holistic Resilience

Melissa’s transition into Pilates was born from a deep understanding of both high-pressure environments and the physical demands of competitive sports. Having spent years in Management, she knows firsthand the toll a corporate lifestyle can take. Her own journey through sports-related injuries led her to Pilates, where she discovered the power of movement to not only heal but to thrive.

Her Approach: Mel’s teaching philosophy is rooted in observation and adaptation. She doesn't just see a set of exercises; she sees your habits. By understanding how you move in your daily life, she skillfully modifies each session to resonate with your unique needs. Her sessions are a rich, sophisticated blend of Pilates, Yoga, functional training, and massage therapy—a holistic combination designed to help you exceed your own expectations and move with a heightened sense of awareness.

Beyond the Studio: A true believer in the "love language" of service, Mel is dedicated to the long-term progress of her clients, from high-performance athletes to pioneers and teens. When she’s not at the studio, she stays energized through Functional Training, Hatha and Yoga, or a game of tennis. She brings this vibrant, dedicated energy to every client she serves, ensuring you feel supported at every stage of your journey.​​
